Easy Housework Motivation Trick – Harness Your Subconscious Mind

Do you lack motivation when it comes to housework? Are you struggling to think of good reasons to tackle the work…again?

It’s a common problem. Keeping a home is a unique challenge – it is repetitive and monotonous, and since it will only need doing again, some would even argue it is futile. But your home has a powerful effect on your whole life – and those you live with. So making peace with your housework and finding the necessary motivation to tackle it will be in the best interest of you and your family.

With this in mind (pardon the pun…) I think you’ll find the following mental trick very useful and effective. The idea is to utilize a powerful technique that deploys your subconscious mind – requiring less conscious (and begrudging) effort from you.

Sound good?

Allow me to introduce (drum roll, please) the incredible motivational force of ….visualisation! Now, you’ve no doubt already heard of this popular psychological tool. You may even have used it to achieve a business venture, relationship or health issue etc. But have you ever tried to apply it to your domestic woes?

If not, then now is as good a time as any. So, here goes with my step-by-step guide:

First close your eyes… Only joking. Read this through first, then close your eyes and go through the process in your mind. It’s just three simple steps.

Step 1. Picture your home.

Step 2. Now see it after the Magic Cleaning Fairy has been! Every surface is clutter-free. You can see your reflection in your taps. You could eat off your floor. You could even withstand an inspection from your most critical relative.

Make this image as real as you can, smell the freshness, feel those crisp clean sheets, really sense the joy you’re feeling in your fabulous spotless home. Feel free to dwell in this happy place as long as you like…

Step 3. When you are feeling utterly proud and happy with your beautiful home, mentally complete this sentence:

The best part about having a gorgeous spotless home is…

You fill in the gap. Whatever comes to mind is the right answer for you.

This little trick will work for you on three levels;

Firstly, you are training your mind to focus on the end-result of your housework. This takes your mind off the wearying effort of doing it. Cue less misery for you…

Secondly, you are awakening your motivations for doing the work. If you discover that your best bit about having a gorgeous spotless home is that you can joyfully invite people round, the thought of this result provides a conscious motivation. You’ve found good reason to do housework – that’s quite an achievement!

Thirdly, visualising a desired end-result throws your sub-conscious mind a challenge (which it loves!). It will work ceaselessly to close the gap between your goal and your current reality.

You will find yourself ‘mysteriously’ making slightly different decisions. It is these minute shifts in behaviour that will, eventually, get you to your goal.

The more regularly you visualise, and the more enthusiastically you imagine your beautiful, tidy home, and the more you can identify exactly what you get out of it – the sooner you will see it in reality.

Good luck and have fun!

Self Improvement and Motivation

Everyone should be interested in self improvement and motivation, but most people are satisfied with the “status quo”. Even people that say they are unhappy with their lives continue to repeat the same behavior patterns over and over again, throughout their lives.

All good self improvement ideas begin with one thing. That is change.

You might need to change the things that you do or the way that you think. You might need to change both. Perhaps it is the power of positive thinking that will bring about self improvement and motivation in your life. Perhaps, you can take advantage of the law of attraction.

Some of the most effective self improvement ideas have to do with the law of attraction. Our thoughts are like magnets that can attract good or bad things to our lives, depending on whether our thoughts are positive or negative.

People have experienced life changing events, simply by changing the way that they think. If you go through the day with a frown on your face, thinking that nothing good will happen today, then you will be right.   By the same token, if you go through the day with a smile, expecting something good to happen, then you will be right. Give it a try.

The biggest obstacle that people must deal with when they are experimenting with self improvement ideas is impatience. They try thinking positively or visualizing for a few days, but when things don’t change in a big way, in a short period of time, they give up.

Sometimes, you have to look for the little things that are good about your life and be grateful for those. At the beginning of every day, take a few moments to count your blessings. Being grateful for what you already have is a big part of self improvement and motivation.

As you begin to put some positive self improvement ideas into action, be aware of each kindness that someone bestows upon you. And, be sure to always react with kindness.  Be ready for opportunity to knock, but remember to look carefully at the opportunity, to be sure that it fits with your long-term goals. It can be easy to get side-tracked, unless you are careful to always think about your long-term goals.   The “Secret”, by Bob Proctor, is a good plan for self improvement and motivation.  It includes many of the things mentioned here, as well as other secrets for being happier and more successful at everything you attempt to do.

Day by day, build your home
Don’t forget to be positive
Don’t forget to be happy

Why You Need Self Improvement and Motivation to Succeed in Life

Do you want to be successful in your life? If your answer is yes, then you will need self improvement and motivation in your life. Self improvement is something that allows you to learn and acquire new knowledge while motivation is the force and energy that will keep you going in your life.

In order to achieve your goals, live the kind of life you always dream about and be successful life, you need both self improvement and motivation. The determination to learn and the commitment to take the necessary action to make things come true are the 2 factors that will determine your success.

Unfortunately, most people lack both of them. For most people, they never read any books after they leave their student’s life. If a book can give you an idea of how you can improve your life and you read a book per week, what do you think will happen to your life? You will have read roughly 50 books a year and I can guarantee you that the knowledge you acquire from the books are enough to improve the quality of your life.

As for motivation, most people lack motivation and they never take any action even though they knew what they should do. For example, if you want to be rich, you know you cannot depend only on the income from your job; you need to create extra income. However, most people don’t have the drive or motivation to do it. Instead, they give lousy excuses such as they don’t have the time, they don’t have the money or they just don’t know how.

This is why you need to have both self improvement and motivation to succeed in your life. There are a lot of self improvement techniques out there. And the best way to learn them is by learning from someone who knows the proven method or system that can help you in achieving what you want in your life.

If you are not following through a proven system, you will never achieve what you want and improve your life. Always remember this; you will never reach north if you keep running east. So follow the proven system now and you will save yourself time and effort in learning the proven Self Improvement And Motivation techniques that really work.

The essential keys to self improvement and motivation

What are the three keys to self improvement and motivation?

1. INSPIRATION.

Inspiration is critical to staying motivated and improving oneself. If you are not interested in your business, your motivation level will never be high and you will not be able to sustain interest for very long.

Take an honest look at your inspiration level. Are you excited about going to work or is it an obligation? You would be surprised at the number of people who choose a business that looks good on paper, but in reality does not interest them in the least.

These individuals will grow weary and uninterested pretty quickly because they have no inspiration or passion to sustain them during the difficult times they will encounter as a small business owner.

If you do not like your work, then think how you can re-focus your small business to better match your needs. Or consider making a change entirely. Without inspiration, there will not be motivated to even try self improvement.

2. SETTING GOALS.

Short and long-term goal setting is vital for any business owner. If you do not set goals, you would have no definite purpose on which path of self improvement to take.

How could you possibly be motivated if you were unsure about the direction of your company?

Take the time to put your goals in writing. A business plan may sound daunting, but it is really nothing more than goals, strategies, implementation and a budget. Write your own business plan and update it at least annually.

Include “mini-goals” that can be accomplished in a matter of hours, days or weeks as well as the more ambitious “grand-goals” that may take years to complete. Refer to this plan throughout the year.

But can a business plan really help motivate you? Of course. Written goals will make you feel more professional and certainly more connected to your business. It will also free you from having to reinvent your business goals every single day.

3. NETWORKING.

Another key factor in getting and staying motivated is networking with other small business owners. No one person knows all the knowledge.

However, when a number of people begin working together, the challenges will just be there waiting to be conquered.

In fact, the isolation of working alone is of one the most difficult parts of being an entrepreneur. You can never be on your way to self improvement without the help of others. Mutual support is motivating.
Make it easier on yourself by connecting with others either in your community or online. Even when businesses are not related, you will often find common ground and ways to work together.

Many successful entrepreneurs report that finding the right networking group was a turning point in the growth of the business. Working together, a networking group can help its members generate more qualified sales leads and solve problems faster and more efficiently.

Sharing ideas, expertise and experience is also an invaluable aspect of motivation and self improvement.
Your own personal team of business owners will help re-energize you when the burdens of running your own business seem too much.

With your networking team to rely on, you can accomplish more in less time and probably have more fun in the process. You will feel motivated to accomplish self improvement when you know you are not alone.

Self Improvement Goals and Motivation

What are three reasons for goal self improvement and motivation to reach your goals?

Many people think that reaching their personal goals is a difficult process. Their are many methods to choose from. You have to find a method that fits your life style and your personality. I find that, this is the hardest think to do. Their will be many factors to consider when choose a method to follow: family, work, relationships, time and more.

Here are three to consider:

1. Inspiration:

Inspiration is critical to staying motivated. If you are not interested in your personal goal, improving it will be difficult. Your motivation level will never be high and you will not be able to sustain interest for very long. Taking an honest look at your motivational level will help you gauge whether you will succeed. Ask yourself :Are you excited about achieving a personal goals? If you are not if will be difficult to accomplish. Keep your goals close to your heart. Most individuals will lose steam and grow tired because their goal doesn’t have any personal passion. You passion to help you stay focused during the difficult times. If you do not like your goal, then think how you can re-focus your personal goal to better match your needs. You may need to change the goal or rewrite it. If inspiration is missing, there will not be any motivation. .

2. Personal goal setting:

Once you decide on a goal setting method you should include short and long-term goals. If you don’t set goals, you won’t have a definite path of self improvement. Take the time to write your goals. A goal setting plan may sound daunting, but it is really nothing more than goals, strategies and implementation. Include mini-goals that can be accomplished in weeks as well as grand-goals that may take years to complete. Refer to your your goal sheets throughout the year. But can a personal goal worksheet really help motivate you? Of course. Written goals will make you feel more in control. It will also free you from having to restart your goal process every single day.

3.Goal support buddy:

Another important factor in getting and staying motivated is to find a goal support buddy. When taking on personal goal setting having someone to encourage you and hold your hand can make the difference between success and failure. Doing this process alone is one of the most difficult parts. You can never be on your way to self improvement without the help of others. Mutual buddy support is a great motivator. Make it easier on yourself by find a compatible buddy in person or online. Even when your personal goals are not related, you will often find some goal that you have in common. Many successful goal buddies state that when they found the right person it was a turning point in their ability to reach their personal goals. Working together, goal buddies can help each other solve problems faster and more efficiently. Sharing ideas, expertise and experience is also an invaluable aspect of motivation and self improvement. Your own personal goal buddy will help re-energize you when the burdens of your goals seem too much. With your goal buddy you can accomplish more goals in less time and probably have more fun in the process. You will feel more motivated to accomplish self improvement goals when you know you are not alone. Remember to celebrate all successes no matter how big or small.

What Exactly Is Positive Motivation?

We’ve all heard about motivational speakers changing people’s lives through their seminars, books, and so forth. We’ve heard that these speakers have saved marriages, made people more successful in their professional lives, and so much more. Yet what is positive motivation, and how can it change your own life?

Motivation is a force that can quite simply be either positive or negative. It can be applied to you through others, or you can apply it to the lives of others who are close to you. Positive motivation has the power to give you or your loved ones that little extra push to succeed. It has the power to change lives in incredible ways simply by creating extra will where there really isn’t any will left. If you have ever heard successful people speaking about their lives, you likely have heard many of them talk about a turning point in their lives where they were completely down on their luck and about to give up, but they had that extra bit of will left. It was that final effort that changed their lives.

In so many aspects of life, from playing sports to interpersonal relationships with friends and family to your professional life, positive motivation can not just change your own success but it can change the success of those around  you. When you are a positive force in someone else’s life and are constantly providing strong motivation to continue on even when they think they cannot go any further, you will find that those around you are more successful in their lives. You will also find that they will cheer you on in your life in the same fashion. Motivation is a two-way street, and spreading a little here and there in key places can reap rewards not just for those you love but for you as well.

Positive Motivation: Building a Network of Positive Energy

Take a solid look at your friends and family, and focus your thoughts on the messages they convey to you. When you look at each person individually, do they build you up and motivate you or do they tear you down and spread a “can’t do” message to you? Each of these people are important to your life and are loved by you, and yet some people are simply negative forces in your life. If you want to be successful and happy in life, you need to build a network of positive energy by focusing on those individuals that provide you with positive motivation.

Obviously you cannot stop interacting with those people in your life who don’t offer positive motivation, but you can limit your interactions with them. You should also take steps to avoid internalizing their messages if you know they will bring you down. Don’t ask them for advice or talk to them about problems more than necessary, but instead do these things with the positive forces in your life. You can absolutely still socialize with those you love who are less than positive, but you need to be aware of how their words and actions can affect yours so you can take steps to head that off before it starts.

For a truly more productive and successful life, you should try to spend more time on those people in  your life who do offer positive motivation. Internalize their messages to you. Develop more friendships and relationships with people are are positive, and really build up a strong network of positive energy. It is truly amazing how being around negative people can bring you down, too, and likewise how being around positive people can be uplifting. Surround yourself with positive energy, and you will find that you lead a happier and more successful life.

Positive Motivation for Kids

When you think back on  your own childhood, you likely have key memories of your parents offering you either negative or positive motivation. Parents are typically among the most influential figures in children’s lives, and when you are constantly spreading a “can’t do” message to them, that message is internalized and carried for the rest of their lives. It becomes a mantra of sorts, and it can effect if they sit back and watch life go by or if they jump in and take chances that can lead them on the path to success.

As a parent, positive motivation is among the most important things you can provide to your child. Every parent wants their child to grow up happy and to lead a successful life, and when you shower your child with motivation and solid energy, you will instill a certain “can do” mindset in  your child that will take him or her to incredible heights in life. Consider using motivating words and phrases in key areas of their life from sports games and academics to even their daily tasks like chores and eating all of their green beans. In addition, you will want to make sure that they hear positive and uplifting comments not just spoken to them but spoken to others close to them as well.

Children internalize words and actions, and this is especially true when they come from a trusted and loved source such as their parents. As a parent, it is important that you are a source of positive motivation, as this will be internalized by them and carried through into their adulthood long after you are no longer a daily guiding force in their life. Take the first step today by  making a point to offer encouraging feedback to your child on minor and major tasks and goals, and then follow that up with daily reinforcement going forward.
