It takes more time to get transformation than what these writers promise. If the images are anything to go by, then there is more that needs to be done. The routines described in many bodybuilding websites needs to highlight the real efforts that the people pictured have made in order to succeed in bodybuilding.

The truth of the matter, however is that it is possible for you to get real transformation. Make sure that you eat right and do more that what is described in the websites. Let no time limit bind your efforts. Bodybuilding takes a long time to take place. This is not enough. The transformation needs to be maintained. You need to maintain the same efforts so as to ensure maximum fitness and the most attractive abs.

Fish Oil For Pregnant Women – Discover the Positive Health Benefits

Opinions vary about the value of omega-3 fish oil for pregnant women. Yet, a growing amount of research provides evidence that the benefits are all positive. Here you will learn what the researchers are reporting, but first a little background.

Omega-3s are a specific group of fats that are “essential” to the human diet, meaning that they are necessary for bodily functions, but the body cannot produce them. So, they must be present in the foods that we eat.

There is no way to determine how many people are suffering from omega-3 deficiencies. There is reason to believe that the number is very large, indeed. It’s just that the deficiencies do not cause acute or immediate symptoms. They cause, or at least contribute to, diseases associated with aging, including heart disease, some types of cancer and arthritis.

When the deficiency is present during pregnancy, infancy or childhood, there are increased risks of learning disabilities, visual impairment, asthma and allergies. The nutrients are essential for normal brain development and function.

So, the value of omega-3 fish oil for pregnant women is to support the developing baby and to reduce his or her risk of chronic conditions like asthma. But, there are other values.

Research indicates that a high omega-3 intake reduces the risk of miscarriage and premature delivery. There may be a reduced risk of post-partum depression, too.

Post-partum depression is typically blamed on sudden hormonal changes, but those are natural changes that should not place undue stress on the body. Nutritional deficits are likely to occur during the last trimester and following delivery as essential nutrients have been directed to the baby’s needs. Research has shown that a woman’s DHA blood levels may be particularly low after delivery.

The nutritional value of fish oil for pregnant women or for anyone has to do with two unique omega-3s called Docosahexaenoic acid or DHA and Eicosapentaenoic acid or EPA. DHA and EPA are present in other foodstuff. They are only found in some species of fish.

At one time, wild game and even farm animals may have contained DHA and EPA, but today, the only omega-3 that those foods provide is alpha-linolenic acid or ALA. The body can, if it must, convert some ALA to EPA and then to DHA, which is why severe deficiency symptoms are not seen in people that do not eat fish or take a supplement.

It’s just that the amount of ALA that is converted to DHA is very low, less than 4%. An alternative to fish oil for pregnant women that are vegan is marine algae. But, be sure to check the label for DHA and EPA content, no matter what kind of supplement you are about to buy.

Despite all of the research, some doctors may still have reservations about suggesting fish oil for pregnant women, but any doctor would agree that the supplement is a good idea for those that are planning to become pregnant.

After all, the brain and central nervous system start to develop before a woman even knows she is pregnant. In short, good nutrition is always important.

Projecting a Positive Corporate Image From the Inside Out

If your company has been losing a number of your best employees and at such a fast rate then you should be looking for signs of a possible negative corporate image. Losing your employees and a declining number of customers are red flags all over signifying an image problem. If this continues and you aren’t doing anything positive to turn your reputation around, then you are in for a greater problem.

This isn’t just about your image about how to keep your employees and about how to improve the number of your customers. A negative corporate image will bleed your resources dry in the long run. Think about it, if your employee leaves, then you must train new ones to take their place. New employees mean, lesser productivity as they try to learn the ropes of the business. This would have to be team work and everybody must be on the same page. Having a dialogue with the rank in file and explaining the steps towards a common direction would always be recommendable.

A Few Wonderful Ways To Stay Positive At Work And In Life

I’d like to offer several practical ideas about staying positive. Nothing magical here, just a few simple ideas to help shape the way you think and feel every day. They apply equally well at work and home, though here I’ll focus more on the job. I could focus largely on your work tasks, but I would like to humanize work a bit by instead talking about you and the interpersonal aspects of your office life. To stay positive:

Bring all of you to the office

This involves the full spectrum of things that define you and make you smile: your attire, the music quietly playing in the background, the office décor – you name it. To constrict who you are at work to fit some “office acceptable” version of yourself requires energy. Energy is finite. Managing impressions is unavoidable, but over managing impressions to the point of losing the unique you at work is far worse. If you like loud ties, wear them. Ladies, if you have a penchant for ridiculous scarves, bring it on. Who cares if nobody other than you in the office likes Elvis Costello? Play it. In fact, spend a little non-work time and put together a few playlists – one for addressing any type of mood that might surface. And for heaven’s sake don’t be like the brain dead planners who designed your office. Why do they feel that gray or brown are motivational colors? Admit it, for most of you, the office is dominated by gray or brown. Weird. Your cube or office need not be. I indulge in Harley-related items (signs, mouse pad, etc.). For you it might be fishing or sports or origami, beats me, but make sure that aspect of you is represented. And add color – that should be a law. Preferably red. Make it a new lamp, phone, chair, something you stick on the shelf – who knows, just add red immediately.

Bring them to the office too

Them is all of the key people in life you love and spend time with. We spend far too much time at work, thus find a way to get them represented right there in your workspace. Bring pictures of the family, the girlfriend or boyfriend, the dog. My favorite recent additions are the framed pictures of my oldest son’s art doodles. He is very into Ben 10 (just Google it). He claims the doodles depict Ben doing all sorts of miraculous things. To me, they are merely funny lighthearted doodles. They make me smile and when he sees them in my office, his smile is even bigger. How about video or audio? I have clips of my wife and both boys on my cell phone and, yes, I do pull it out when in need of a quick smile or bit of perspective.

Have something to look forward to

When we have things to look forward to, what do we do? We survive by any means necessary until they arrive! Make sure you are never without something to look forward to. This does not have to be a lavish vacation or something terribly expensive. It can be as simple as the night later in the week when you have pledged to go home early to cook dinner for the family. For me, that is a real treat. For you that might be a nightmare, so what. Maybe it is the movie night coming up with your children, the cook out with your family friends or the date night with your significant other. Get it on the calendar and in your mind and reference it just when things get a little nutty at work.

Do something nice for someone

Yes, you need to keep focused on the wonderful “thing to look forward to” for yourself. However, it may surprise you just how good it feels to do something for someone else right now. If you have time, try volunteer work. Join the Rotary (I did). Great, but if you’re really strapped for time and money, you can still help others. There are abundant opportunities to do so at work every day. You have no excuse! Compliment someone personally. Maybe it is how they look that day. Maybe it is the fact that they are always positive. Maybe it is the fact that they are thoughtful enough every Friday to wish you a great weekend and every Monday to ask about your weekend. Compliment them professionally. Did they help you massage some data? Did they cover for you when you could not make the meeting? Were they there last week to offer you some needed input on a big decision? Tell them thank you – and be specific about why you are saying thank you. Crazy idea – help them back! It is amazing the wonderful feeling to be had from simply helping another person make it through the day a bit more smoothly.

What Everybody Should Know About the Power of Positive Thinking

Does it sound simple? The power of positive thinking?

Is it something you wish just came naturally? Having positive thoughts?

It’s important to let the Universe know what you want. Not everything in life that is good just happens.

Sometimes we need a little push. Sometimes we need a little help to get going again and to get into a positive attitude.

During a time when the world seems a bit uncertain the power of positive thinking is more important than ever. One reason is when one person puts out a vibe or certain type of energy it can and will be picked up by everyone! Your positive thoughts are being felt by others all the time, whether you realize it or not.

It’s important that we all send positive love and energy to each other every day.

I am putting out into the universe that everyone who wants to feel great can. That everyone who wants to fulfill their dreams should.

Don’t worry if you’re struggling that is all a part of life. The struggle can and will turn into gold if you allow it! The greatest gift we have is the ability to change the way we see things. If you feel stuck in your life and need a place to start here are ten guidelines that I use.

Take one of these principles everyday and put it into practice. Spend an entire day on only one principle. When you let the experience of each guideline become a part of your day the power of positive thinking starts to work its magic!

My Ten Power of Positive Thinking Guidelines:

1. Reserve Judgment. Spend a whole day not judging anyone or anything.

2. Create a happy zone in your mind. There are many ways to do this. Visualization is a great way to start.

3. Believe in yourself as someone without limits. Spend the day doing things you felt you were to afraid to try.

4. Use positive words. Watch and listen to what you say to yourself all day long. Make sure you are using positive words to speak to yourself.

Example of positive words would be taking to yourself as kindly as you would to your best friend. Use positive words like honey and sweetie in referring to yourself.

5. Smile today every fifteen minutes. Smiling changes your perception about life. Know that what you think about all day is your reality.

6. Practice acceptance of knowing there is a purpose for everything that happens in life. Find the lesson in each situation and know it is meant to be.

7. Take time to get in touch with your spiritual self, start meditating every day. Spend some time in silence. You can use guided meditations as well. I offer free mp3 downloads that are very popular.

8. Be of service to everyone you come in contact with. Start out your day asking how can help?

9. Tune in to your intuition on daily basis and ask what you should be doing today? Be on purpose when you plan your day then listen.

10. Count your blessings everyday then thank the Universe for them. Gratitude is huge in maintaining positive thoughts.

My journey in this life has not always been fun but I have always had control over it. The problem was I didn’t know that. I found the most effective way to change my reality is by getting into action.

Positive Affirmations Or Negative Affirmations – You Choose!

One of the most powerful tools we can use to change our beliefs and our behaviors is the tool known as affirmations.

Affirmations are simple, short, strong messages that we send to ourselves, by repeating them out loud or silently. Affirmations can also be written.

There’s a good reason why we should master the use of affirmations. If you don’t learn how to choose and use positive affirmations, you will be a victim of the negative affirmations you are already repeating to yourself.

Do you ever catch yourself saying something like, “There you go again, being stupid again. Don’t you ever learn? Can’t you ever do anything right?”

For many people, this is a typical affirmation that runs through their head many times a day.

If you take a look at this particular affirmation, you will notice that it is very, very negative. It says to the person, “You are stupid. You are always wrong, and you will always be wrong.”

Affirmations can be incredibly powerful, whether they are positive or negative. An affirmation acts like a form of hypnosis. It tells the listener how to be and how to behave.

Can you imagine the effect of such a negative affirmation, repeated dozens or even hundreds of times a day, over many years?

When you make the decision to start using positive affirmations, you will be challenging many years of negative affirmations that you have used in the past. You need to experiment and discover the best way that positive affirmations can work for you. There is a lot of information available about how to use positive affirmations, and not every technique is the same. Not every system will work well for each person, as we are all individual.

Still, there are many people who claim that positive affirmations don’t work for them. They try using positive affirmations for a while, and then they get bored, or they give up when they don’t see the results they want right away. Why do positive affirmations sometimes appear not to work?

Let’s get scientific about this. Get out a calculator, or a pen and paper. Now, take a bit of time to think how many negative affirmations go through your mind every hour. How often do you catch a subtle little thought fleeting through your brain that is really a put down of yourself and your abilities. Does it happen once an hour? Ten times an hour? More?

Now multiply that number by the hours you are usually awake during the day. Multiply that number by the number of days you have been alive since you were a child.

The resulting number will give you a rough idea of how many negative affirmations you have said to yourself during your life time. If you are like many people, the number of negative affirmations is a huge, astounding number, perhaps in the tens of thousands or even the hundreds of thousands of times.

Do you have an idea now why negative ideas can be so entrenched in your mind, and do you see why doing positive affirmations for a few weeks might not be enough to turn the tide of your own negative opinion?

For affirmations to work, you’ll have to commit to doing them long enough and often enough. That might mean, repeating your positive affirmations hundreds of times a day for many months. You’ll need to find a way to phrase your positive affirmations so that your mind can accept them.

If you give up on the idea of using positive affirmations, it’s all too easy to slip back into letting negative affirmations rule your life.

You are probably doing affirmations already, you just need to make sure the message you are affirming is the one you really want to hear.

What Keeps You Positive and Optimistic to Get Success in Your Life?

Everyone knows that to be successful in life, positive attitude plays an essential role. But many of them do not know how to be positive and optimistic throughout their life. What are the things or steps essential to keep you positive and optimistic? Always think positive; thinking positive will give positive results. Use your golden hour (first hour of the day) in constructive work. It’s the hour during which you planned your mind and set your emotional tone for the rest of the day. The difference between successful person and less successful person is positive thinking and planning. Successful person plan their activities in the first two hours. If you get up in the morning at least two hours before you have to be at work, or before your first appointment or meeting, and spend the first hour to make better plan by reading good books. If you do not do this and you invest your precious time in the newspaper or magazines, your whole day will flow accordingly. If you invest your golden time in constructive work, planning, reading good books, your whole day will flow more smoothly.

You’ll be more positive, cheerful, hopeful and optimistic. You’ll be calmer, confident and relaxed. You’ll have a greater sense of humor, better control and well-being by the very act of reading healthy material for the first hour of each day. After just few days of reading for 30 to 60 minutes in the morning, you’ll notice a profound change. As a result of your early morning reading, you’ll feel so excellent about yourself and your life. You will feel more confident and energetic throughout the day. This will help you in taking right decisions, proper management of work flow, etc.

Try to adopt this process for some days and see. It’s a magnificent experience, and it can have a deep impact on the rest of your life. In the period of time before work, another thing that extremely successful people do is plan and prepare for their entire day.
