Subsconcious mind is very powerful as it doesn’t argue with you, it just accepts whatever you are saying to it and take it as the truth.

2. Feel good about yourself. Look your best. Dress up more often. This gives you an extra feeling of confidence and self esteem. On its own just knowing that you look good will boost your confidence and reinforce with others that there are things about you that are worth getting to know.

3. Take the opportunity to talk to a stranger as often as possible. I am not asking you to talk to everybody you see on the street. You can do this in a more subtle way. For example, when you are waiting in a long queue, you can just start a small conversation with the person behind you. This is a great way in helping you to overcome your shyness.

4. When you are engaged in a one to one conversation, or with a larger group of people, let them know that you are shy. This prevents them from misreading you and they are far more likely to invite you into the conversation rather than leave you just listening and wishing you could contribute.

Many people, me included, find following a conversation in a noisy room difficult. If you are having difficulty say so and move so that you can hear. People respect honesty, and vulnerability and you will attract more honest people into your life as a result.

5. Don’t take rejection personally, just treat it as something that is like/dislike. You see, we all have preferences, the things that we like may not be the same as others and vice versa. For instance, if you like a particular type of girl, and you want to ask her out but she rejects you. Well, actually it is not you that she is rejecting, it is just that you are not her type. This is the same as you like a certain type of person but not other. So, it is very important that you don’t take rejection to heart as this is the fact of life. If you take it personally, it will hurt your self esteem.

6. Find a hobby and master some of its basic skills. For example, take up a Karate lesson or pick up some magic tricks that you can use to impress people. Master the skills, this can help boost your confidence and eliminate shyness. I picked up Tae Kwon Do, I find learning martial art can really help increase my self esteem and self confidence very quickly. There are many things you can explore as a hobby such as learning a new language, gardening, sports, singing, etc.

Here are some easy tips or techniques you can use to boost and cultivate your optimism:

1. Avoid getting hung up on one thing. Sometimes you may feel like there’s one situation that’s holding you back. Maybe there’s just one thing that has seemingly ruined your day. Resolve to let it go so it doesn’t bother you anymore. After all, there’s a whole world out there just waiting for you to experience!

2. Always strive to look at the bright side in life. If you have a bad day, don’t allow that bad feeling to spread, try to look for a silver lining. There is always light even in darkest places. Remember that success always come after some setbacks. The important thing to remember here is to learn from your mistakes, learn how to remove the stumbling block that is blocking your way; improve it and move forward. That’s how success is achieved.

8. Learn to accept things as they are. Remember that even a positive life has ups and downs. Life won’t always be perfect, but there are many ways you can still make the best of it. Accept the fact that bad things will happen from time to time, but avoid dwelling on these things. You’ll bounce back if you remain open to optimism.

Optimism is easy to cultivate if you start from your mind or the way you think. Always remember to think positively even if you are facing with difficult challenges. It’s All In Your Head: Easy Ways To Stay Positive And Boost Your Business

I did a lot of things over the past few years to grow and expand my business, including working for the lifestyle I want, defining my ideal clients and taking care of my physical and mental health.

Part of my mental healthcare included maintaining a positive mindset and it really made a huge difference. It cleared my head and allowed me to really focus on my business. Here are the four things I did to create a constant source of positive energy.

1.No News!
My first rule was no news, no radio and no reading the newspaper. That meant not flipping on the radio in the car. It meant not turning on the TV – even for two seconds – because it seemed like I’d always hear bad news. It’s amazing how I always manage to hear about the top news items anyway.

2.Positive Programs and Music
I made sure that I had a lot of positive audio programs and music. This can be any kind of spiritual teacher, guru, coach, leader or author who resonates with you. Buy their audio books or seminars and put them in your iPod or on your computer; rent them from the library and listen to the CDs in your car. Positive, uplifting music is good too. I, myself, like music that includes chanting, affirmations and stuff that’s just fun and fancy-free. We all have music that puts us in a good mood – so use whatever works for you.

3.Positive People
I decided I only wanted positive people around me. That meant I needed to not hang out with some of my family and friends. I worked hard to avoid energy vampires – those people who are so negative they just suck the life right out of you. To be honest, for a while I went into kind of a little cocoon. I needed to reconnect with my family and myself and be very purposeful about who I was spending my time with. Also, I attended retreats and conferences that were in a positive, spiritual realm. If that doesn’t work for you, find something related to a hobby. For example, if you’re into genealogy or you’re a stamp collector – whatever gives you energy – put yourself in those environments.

4.Community Connection
I made sure I was connected to community. This is a really big one because we tend to isolate ourselves. As entrepreneurs with our own businesses – most of us in our own homes – it’s very easy to isolate. So, find some likeminded groups, like a book club, spiritual group or volunteer activity, and attend regularly.

Taking care of oneself physically and mentally – and keeping a positive mindset – is a great way to keep yourself in the game. You’ll be amazed at the renewed motivation you have for doing the things that are not your core passion, but will make your business grow. Working from a cup overflowing helps you float through cold calls, accounting, filing, networking or any other activity that is critical to success but not always top on your list. Once the negativity is gone and you’ve got positive energy on your side, anything is possible.
