How to Turn Negative Problems Into Positive Opportunities
Have you ever had a problem or negative situation arise that if there was some way of turning it into an opportunity that you would do it in a heartbeat? We all have at one point. Maybe it was a financial setback. Maybe it was a heart break from a relationship. It could be that you fear for what happens when you die. It could be an emotional or a very stressful situation. Maybe you are up against the wall with a physical infirmity or sickness or disease of some kind. It could even be that you just have never fulfilled your potential in life.
Whatever it is I am telling you that you can turn it around for the positive and I will show you how. I will be using the example of Jesus and the very first miracle that is recorded which he did. The miracle is turning water into wine and it can be found in the bible in John 2:1-11.
When a good situation goes bad what do you do?
Here we have a couple who is getting married. Mary, the mother of Jesus is there and Jesus and his disciples were invited. So, we find that they wanted wine. Okay, so far so good. But then the mother of Jesus comes to him and says that they have no wine. Here we have a good and festive occasion that has just gone bad.
Jesus’ mother comes to him and says they are out of wine. Jesus says, “Woman, my hour is not yet come.” Did you ever have a situation or many situations that arose that were not life threatening, but fell into a category that if possible you could do without them? Yea, they won’t do anything except hurt your feelings or embarrass the daylights out of you, but you will live through them. They are the kind of situations that if you are already having a bad day it could be the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back so to speak.
So Jesus’ mother ignores him and tells the servants to do whatever he tells them to do. First you need to realize that even in those trivial and meaningless situations that are annoying, but livable, God still loves you and wants all things to work together for your good. You have to understand that. So you go to God for help and instead of complaining about your life or murmuring about the circumstances you are in just do what Jesus says to do. And what does he say to do? Let’s find out.
Here in our story we find six stone water pots that are used for purifying. Jesus told the servants to fill the water pots and these fellows filled them to the brim. Jesus told them to use what was right in front of them. Did you ever look so hard for an answer to your situation that you missed what was staring you right in the face? We all have. You need to slow down and allow yourself not to be in a rush. You need to get yourself in a neutral frame of mind and just get quiet and think things through in a more simple way. When you spend time in the Word of God on a regular basis I can assure you that when pesky circumstances arise and you quiet yourself down and pause for a moment that the Word of God will return to you and you will have an answer rise up from within you and you will know what to do.
So then Jesus says to draw some water out and give it to the head person at the feast. And the servants obeyed. When you obey Jesus by obeying the Word of God you will not fail. Usually obeying the Word of God will be contrary to what you think should be done. But you must ask yourself if you want to do things your way or do you want things done right and successfully? That would entail consistently doing things God’s way. If you want a life then lose yours in Christ. Let Christ reign in your life and I promise you that you will be delivered from every affliction that life throws at you.
Now the ruler tastes the water that had been made wine and he now calls over the groom to come and see him. Did you notice that the water did not become wine until the head person at this wedding was ready to drink it? Did you ever wonder why God doesn’t do a miracle based on your time frame? The ruler of the feast compliments the groom by saying that the good wine is usually served first and when people have drunk freely then the worst wine is served. Sounds like they water down the drinks as people get more and more drunk.
But in this case what happened? The water that was made into wine was the best that had been served. So let’s summarize what happened.
A situation arose making a positive occasion into a negative one.
Immediately a person went to Jesus for help instead of looking to the world or to personal knowledge or to any number of things that might have solved the situation.
When Jesus speaks you should listen and obey. This the same as reading your bible and obeying what is in there as well as getting quiet and allowing God to speak to you through that inward witness you have on the inside of you.
What Jesus tells you to do might be contrary to what you want to do or even abnormal in regard to even the laws of nature. This means that a higher law that you are not aware of might be available to use and work if you act on it. For example in Galatians 5:22 and 23 we read, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Did you see that? There is no law against such things. That means if the fruit of the Spirit is developed in you as a born again Christian then when needed there is something that even lifts you above the laws of nature. Hence we have the gift of the Spirit of the working of miracles available to us when we need it.
And here is something that I want you to notice. You can do things in a natural sense or the way the world teaches and get by or you can do things God’s way and really do much better. If you do things the world’s way you won’t please God and you take your chances with the end being that you are the loser. Turn your life over to Christ Jesus and find out just how good life can be even when life throws every affliction and piece of garbage at you.

Its going to require reflection and honesty towards your own issues and truly getting to the root of what has caused you to be overweight. And, while its never fun to look inward and examine our own vulnerabilities and issues, being able to do this is what is going to allow you to truly achieve triumph.

Focus on Positive Thinking – Turning Negative Statements Into Positive Statements
The Universe delivers what you ask for. And you ask for these things via your thoughts. So, suffice it to say, if you are thinking negatively, the Universe is going to deliver negative things. Don’t you think it’s about time to start changing your thinking patterns right now?
You might say that’s easier said than done. Well, I am here to help you gain a better perspective. It’s easier to do thank you think.
We are trained from a young age to think things are hard and that to get anything and anywhere in life, you have to work hard at it. While in a sense that can be true, but it’s not entirely true. Things only have to be hard if you make them hard. If you think that it takes hard work, then it WILL take hard work. Have you ever noticed people who things just come easily to? Guess what? They don’t have the thought that things need to be hard in order to achieve results. They think thoughts that things are easy to do.
It’s interesting how some people can pick up skills very easily, and others can’t seem to put two and two together in the same skill. Take me for example. I am a natural computer user. I have no fear of the computer. Computers come very easily to me. I am pretty much self-taught on computers. From formatting Word and Excel documents, to playing online computer games, to hand-coding HTML, it all comes very easy and natural to me. And I’m not even entirely sure why. It just does. And I embrace that. To me, my thoughts are computers are easy, they are natural, and they are nothing to be afraid of. Others who can’t seem to pick up computer skills to save their lives have thoughts of computers are hard, difficult, and unfriendly. So, naturally, the Universe is going to deliver to them, a hard time grasping those computer skills.
Now let’s talk next about turning negative thinking or statements into positive thinking or statements. Many people think that they are thinking positively, but they aren’t. And let me share with you why they are not really thinking positively. They make one big mistake. They follow up their thought or statement with a caveat, or a negative twist. Something like, “I feel great… I am in no pain”. Well, guess what, there’s that negative – there’s that “pain” that they thought they were getting rid of.
So, let’s do a little footwork to try to learn how to turn negative statements into positive statements. We need to totally get rid of the negative and keep it completely positive. Let’s start with some examples.
Say someone has a blood clot, or they have heart problems (blocked or clogged arteries). Instead of saying “I want to be free from any blockages or clogging”, let’s try something like “My blood flows through my arteries and veins freely, easily, and effortlessly”. See how that was completely positive, and actually said what the person wanted, and not what they don’t want? That’s what you have to do. Get away from thinking about what you don’t want because the more you focus on what you don’t want, the more you will get what you don’t want. Whether you want it or not, it’s what you are focused on that you will get. Let’s try another example. Say someone wants more money. Instead of saying “I want more money so that I can get out of debt” (see the negative on the end of that statement – debt?). Try something like “I have more than enough cash to provide me the services and goods that I want”. There, that’s completely positive and focuses entirely on what the person wants, instead of what they don’t want. Let’s try one more, just so that you have the idea down pat. Instead of “I feel great today… I’m not having any pain in my back” try “I feel great today… I can move my back freely and easily and have complete flexibility”. Bingo! Completely positive and focused on what the person wants.
I hope you’ve gotten the idea here. Take one thought, right now, that you have been thinking and take all negativity away from it and turn it totally positive. Focus on that positive statement. Give yourself a chance to succeed.

3. Be true to yourself and others. If you’re not true to yourself, whether you believe it or not, others will sense this. Don’t try to be something that you’re not; this is a negative way of portraying yourself to others.
As mentioned before, positive attracts positive, but negative attracts negative as well. Show others your true self, including your flaws. They’ll appreciate your open and willing heart and be able to form a strong bond with you more easily.
Be genuine to others and allow them to see your true feelings and personality. Trying too hard to act like someone else could lead to embarrassment for you.
4. Don’t take relationships for granted. Remember to always give thanks for the valuable relationships in your life. They may not be as numerous as you’d like, but rather than complaining, be thankful for the ones you have now and have had in the past.
By professing your gratitude genuinely, you’ll have an easier time attracting future valuable relationships.
5. Be honest. If you’re in a negative relationship right now, that will tend to keep positive relationships from coming into your life. Be honest with yourself and others. Make a conscious decision to either improve that relationship or end it.
Honesty will pave the way for more positive, trusting relationships to enter your life.
As the old saying goes, “Nothing worth having in life comes easily.” Attracting positive relationships – and weeding out the negative ones – may not be an easy task, but it’ll make for a better and more fulfilling life.

1. Be Prepared…
Let’s face it…you can please some of the people all the time, but you’ll never manage to please all of the people all the time. There will be unhappy customers…that’s the way life is. There’s not a lot you can do about it…or is there? Disgruntled customers often fear their complaints will be overlooked and overreact to get the attention they feel they deserve. Let them be surprised with the sincere consideration you give to the problem, and watch their anger dissapate. They’ll walk away from a possibly explosive situation with a pleasantly surprised attitude. They’ll remember that much longer than the problem that brought them to you in the first place.
6. Be Confirming…
It pays to double check on the satisfaction of a one-time dissatisfied customer. You may even want to reinforce a good relationship with them by offering a special discount on their next purchase! Getting them back in the habit of shopping with you can only benefit your business in the long run.
7. Be Attentive to the Cause of the Problem…
Once the customer has been pacified it’s time to get to the root of the problem. Hey, chances are pretty good that others have been unhappy about the same problem, but haven’t vocalized a complaint…at least to you. They may very well take the time to gripe to their friends! Take the time to fix the cause of the problem to avoid similar complaints in the future.
Don’t let customer complaints get you down or cause you to lose future sales opportunities. How to turn negative into positive thoughts
Did you ever wanted a parking space nearby the mall entrance, but finally you ended at the beginning of the parking aera. I bet the thought:” I probably won’t find a space nearby”, crossed your mind several times.
So got what you asked for. The word “won’t” is a negative mind related thought. A so called negative affirmation. You probably experience more of these things in life. You would like a nicer house or car but for some reason things don’t change. Let me explain how to mind works. Our mind is the most amazing hard drive you can imagine. There are billions off= neural connections possible. Every time you think or see something your brain stores the event with sound, odeur, feeling or other senses that you’re not aware off. Sometimes when you hear a sound that event runs through your head again. The sound is called an anchor. Also smell is an anchor. Every time you experience that specific smell related with an event those thought comes in mind.
We can use those anchors in a positive way. We must realize that our mind doesn’t recognize negative words similar like “not” . For example if you say : I will not be late”. Your mind will registers: “I will be late”. The result is that you will be just in time for your appointment.
Therefore the way to use our mind is by positive affirmation like: I will be on time, I have a parking space near the entrance . Believe me it works. Nine out of ten times I have a parking space close to the place where I must be. The times I don’t have that spot is because I didn’t thought of needing a space at all or enough .
Positive thinking is like sports exercising. The more you repeat the better you become. Forget the negative thought or emotion that comes into your mind. Say: “Next” to each of those negative thoughts. Stay focused on what you want. Think in possibilities not in problems. Use positive affirmations like:
I feel more secure each day
I’m emotionally in balance
This is another perfect day for me.
